This was a weekly staple for my family for a few months last summer, and we did continue to come here regularly after that. Great folks and consistently good pizza. We hadn't been here in about two months, and when I came in today it looks like they have all new staff. The new folks are nice and the food is still great. I wonder what happened though.

Just had Lucky Duck Pizza last night for my football watch party and was very impressed with the price and taste. We ordered a small Vegan Veggie pizza, large breadsticks, a large pulled pork and pineapple pizza, a large pepperoni pizza, and some marinara sauce. The pizza place I used to order from, which unfortunately closed, would've been close to $100 with tip, but we didn't come anywhere close to that. My friends were very happy with the taste and most of the food was gone by the end of halftime. Our food also arrived about 20 minutes earlier than expected, which was awesome. Thank you, Lucky Duck!

59 in Waterford is a busy spot to say the least. And if you can't find something to eat on this road you don't like food. But non chain pizza is another matter. So despite a snowy night more suited to rushing home I hung a right to check out Lucky Duck Pizza. Once again the Michigan pizza place naming machine has delivered another oddly named pizza place. Luck duck? Um ok. How about Anatra Fortunata Pizza. (Guess what that's Italian for?) But anyway. Covid theater has kept dining rooms closed and Lucky Duck seems to be doing ok with take out. Menu is pretty extensive with subs, pizzas and other pub fare. Now for the pizza. My first concern was the conveyor belt oven. But it cooked up a nice if not a bit bready crust. Pizzas are topped in a Buddy's reverse order style with sauce on top of the cheese. I ordered sausage and onion and the sausage was the real deal and the red onions mild. Sauce was a sour to my taste but that's just me. Prices are good with my pie coming in around $14. And for a walk in my order came up fast. As the saying goes, if it walks like a duck.......it must be a pizza place. Lucky duck pizza.....waddle over!!
